ABOUT FREDDY
Freddy Castro is a Filipino-American creative professional based in the North Atlanta.
I'm Freddy Castro, a brand strategist and designer, and the founder of Miner Creative.
I started Miner Creative in 2017 as a side practice and went all in on it in 2024. That came after nearly 15 years leading creative and communications across ministry, nonprofit, higher education, real estate, and hospitality. Different rooms, same pattern every time: the organizations doing genuinely great work were often the ones showing up in the world in a way that did not reflect it.
I've come to believe most brand problems are actually clarity problems. The logo isn't the issue. The website isn't the issue. The real gap is between who a business has become and how it still presents itself, and there's usually no clear foundation to close that gap. That's the work I care about most.
Some of that work has looked like leading creative and communications for an $8.25 million capital campaign, building the production systems that carried a church through the shift to fully online ministry, and developing a marketing engine that helped sell hundreds of real estate listings. The throughline is the same one I build on now: define what's true first, then express it in a way that holds.
Today I lead Miner Creative with a small team and a clear focus. I help founders get clear on who they are, where they're headed, and the story they're taking their clients on.
